Dark Shadows Reimagined for Adult Animation

Warner Bros. announced at the Annecy Animation Festival their adult animation series reimagining the 1960s cult TV show Dark Shadows, originally created by Dan Curtis. The show ran from 1966 to 1971 and received a Tim Burton feature adaptation in 2012.

Haworth client, Lisa Holdsworth will be the Showrunner and Executive Producer of the series that will continue to follow the vampire Barnabas Collins and his supernaturally dysfunctional family. Other producers attached are Cathy Curtis, Tracy Curtis, Eric Homan, Kevin Kolde, and Fred Seibert.

Blending gothic, horror, and supernatural genres, this coming adaptation promises all the dark twists and romantic intrigue that defined the transformational series across its 1200-plus episode run.
