AN T-EILEAN Wins Prix CIRCOM 2025 Drama and Entertainment Prize

The Gaelic high end drama series AN T-EILEAN (THE ISLAND), produced by Black Camel and commissioned by BBC ALBA, has won the Drama and Entertainment prize at the international TV awards, Prix CIRCOM 2025. Judges from 15 European regional public service broadcasters select the winner and the award is given at the CIRCOM Annual Conference in Barcelona on May 22nd.

When their mother is found murdered in the family castle, four adult children return to the Scottish island of their birth as their father is questioned over her death. A tense, twisting story of lies, loss and long-buried secrets, this murder mystery is set against the elemental backdrop of the Western Isles of Scotland.
