Laura Carreira and Patsi Mackenzie 2025 BAFTA Scotland Nominees!

Huge congratulations to Laura Carreira and Patsi Mackenzie for their 2025 BAFTA Scotland Award nominations!

Laura has been nominated for Best Feature and Best Writing for her film On Falling which she wrote and directed.

Patsi has been nominated for Best Television Scripted for her work as a co-writer with Nicholas Osborne on the series An T-Eilean / The Island.

Hosted by Edith Bowman, the award ceremony will be taking place 16 November 2025 at the Grand Ballroom in the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central. Coverage will be available on BAFTA’s YouTube channel, and a highlights programme will be broadcast on BBC Scotland and BBC One Scotland on 19 November.
