KATIE LYONS
Katie is an actor and writer and has carved out extensive experience working in immersive and interactive theatre both as a script writer and a collaborator. She wrote the script for The Paddington Bear Experience at London County Hall and was part of the Writers Room for Sage & Jester’s largescale immersive show at Deptford Storehouse. Prior to that she worked with Immersive Everywhere to script Peaky Blinders: The Rise.
For Look Left Look Write, Katie co-wrote the award-winning immersive show You Once Said Yes (Roundhouse, Edinburgh Fringe, Southampton, Salford, Perth Australia); Above and Beyond (Corinthia Hotel); The Many Whoops of Whoops Town (Lyric Hammersmith / Latitude) and Once Upon a Christmas (Covent Garden). She developed a binaural sound musical with China Plate and wrote Boots on The Ground (Salisbury/Dulwich) a promenade audio show commissioned by Tangled Feet.
Katie’s current commissions include Rave New World with Tangled Feet, and an original Murder Mystery experience for Private Drama Events.
Katie’s acting television credits include Manhunt; Slow Horses; Bluestone 42; Call The Midwife; The Crimson Petal and The White; Boy A and Green Wing, and plays at the National Theatre and the Bush Theatre. Katie is the Co-Founder and Director of Reel Voices London and has written numerous scripts for Voiceover demo reels.
